2. What we do
We are a mobile art instruction service. We bring paint parties, jewelry making, glow-in-the-dark paint parties, denim upcycling, mixed media workshops, vision board workshops, kids paint parties, kids watercolor parties, ceramic pot painting, wine glass painting, wood panel signs, pumpkin painting, holiday ornaments, custom quote boards, and custom signs to your venue across Orange County, LA County, the Inland Empire, and up to Big Bear. Every experience includes our signature musical opening, all supplies, and full setup and breakdown.
3. Using the site
You can browse, view our gallery, read about us, and submit booking or contact inquiries. You agree not to:
- Scrape, copy, or republish content from the site without permission
- Attempt to break, probe, or otherwise interfere with the site or any of the services it relies on
- Submit false information, spam, or anything illegal through our forms
- Use our images, brand name, logos, or content for your own commercial purposes
All photos, paintings, designs, copy, and branding on this site belong to Paint and Sip SoCal and TamsArt unless clearly credited otherwise. They are protected by copyright.
4. How booking works
When you submit the booking form, your request goes into our system as Pending. We review every request and respond within 48 hours. The date is not held until we confirm it and you pay a deposit.
Once we have your deposit, your date is locked in and we begin coordinating supplies, design choices, and logistics for your event.
5. Pricing and minimums
Final pricing depends on group size, location, type of experience, travel distance, and any add-ons you request. We provide a custom quote after reviewing your inquiry. Your quote is valid for 14 days from the date we send it.
6. Deposits
To confirm and hold your event date, we require a non-refundable deposit. The deposit amount will be stated in your quote and is typically a percentage of the total event cost. We cannot guarantee your date until the deposit clears.
The deposit is applied toward your total balance. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before your event date unless we agree to a different schedule in writing.
Payment instructions will be included in your quote. If a payment does not go through by the due date, we will contact you within 24 hours. If we cannot reach you or the payment is not resolved within 48 hours of the due date, we reserve the right to release your date and treat the booking as cancelled under the terms in Section 7.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Plans change. Here is how we handle it:
- More than 30 days before your event
- You may cancel and we will refund any payments above the non-refundable deposit. The deposit is not refunded but may be applied to a rescheduled event within 12 months.
- Between 14 and 30 days before your event
- You may cancel and we will refund 50 percent of any payments above the deposit. The deposit remains non-refundable.
- Less than 14 days before your event
- All payments are non-refundable because supplies, scheduling, and travel have been committed by this point.
- Rescheduling
- If you need to move your date, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to find a new date that works. Reschedules made more than 14 days out can usually be accommodated at no additional charge. Reschedules within 14 days may incur a fee.
- Cancellation by us
- If we have to cancel due to illness, weather, or another situation outside our control, we will refund all payments in full or work with you to reschedule, whichever you prefer.
8. Your responsibilities as the host
To make your event run smoothly, you agree to:
- Provide an accurate guest count at least 7 days before the event so we can prep the right supplies
- Confirm the venue address, parking, and any access requirements at least 7 days before the event
- Make sure the space has adequate room, lighting, tables, and access to water for cleanup
- Ensure all guests follow venue rules and the laws of the location
- Inform us in advance of any guests under 21 if alcohol will be served
9. Alcohol policy
Paint and Sip SoCal does not provide, sell, or serve alcohol. If alcohol is present at your event, you are responsible for following all California laws, including the legal drinking age, and for ensuring guests drink responsibly. We reserve the right to pause or end an event if guests become unsafe.
10. Guest count and supplies
We bring supplies based on the guest count confirmed 7 days before your event. If more guests show up than expected, we will do our best to accommodate them, but we cannot guarantee everyone will have full supplies. If fewer guests show up, the event fee does not change because supplies and prep have already been committed.
11. Event conduct
Our team is there to teach, perform, and create a meaningful experience for your group. We expect everyone at the event to treat our artists with respect. Harassment, threats, or unsafe behavior toward our team or other guests is grounds to end the event immediately with no refund.
12. Photos and media at events
We sometimes take photos or short videos at events for our portfolio and social media. If you or any of your guests do not want to be photographed, let us know at the start of the event and we will respect that. By default, group photos and atmospheric shots are fair game unless you opt out.
13. Liability
Painting and creative activities involve some risk. Paint can stain clothing. Sharp tools, glaze, kilns, and other materials carry their own hazards. By booking with us, you accept these normal risks on behalf of yourself and your guests.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paint and Sip SoCal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the site or your event. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the event in question.
14. Intellectual property at your event
The artwork your guests create at the event belongs to them. The designs we teach, the lesson plans, the techniques, and the painting templates remain the property of Paint and Sip SoCal and TamsArt. You may not record, copy, or republish our instructional content without written permission.
15. Third party services
The site uses Cloudflare for hosting, Resend for transactional email, Google Analytics for usage data, and Google Fonts for typography. Each has its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the actions or content of those third parties.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. When we do, the version number in the hero will change. For active bookings, the terms in effect when your deposit was received govern your event. For site usage, the current posted terms govern.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
18. Contact
